The hunt is over… Pam 127 “Fiddy” finally arrived home.

Hello friends!
Just to share the thrill of a new catch which had been haunting my horological soul for a long time.
Panerai aficionados do not need an explanation about the attraction this particular model popularly known as "Fiddy" (Pam 127) has among lovers of this brand.
The shape and finely satin brushed case, the golden handset, sandwich dial and big domed crystal make for its cult-like following.
I’m sharing a few shots of this recently arrived watch which I was lucky to catch in an almost NOS condition full set.
Watch is shown with an awesome Italian edition book on the history of Military Diving of the Italian Navy since 1849 to 2009, from hard hat divers to autonomous diving with oxigen and air.
This is a wonderful book lavishly illustrated with color and B&W photography, historical war time shots, diagrams, etc.
Regrettably for me text is in Italian and my language knowledge is very poor but anyway with much effort and the help of my Italian nephew I’m enjoying it so much.
I wish Editors would offer an English version of this most beautiful and important book.
Thank you so much for your kind attention to my post!
Cheers! Abel
