I also think that the dial, despite its "complexity", is very well done and, above all, harmonious. The date also fits here perfectly for me (same color background as dial). The harmony is supported by the fact that the 3 - 6 - 9 - 12 and all indices are visible.
We can now discuss the usefulness of a function like an equation of time.
But for the rest, the functions are really very useful and friendly: GMT, date and month display, day/night display, 8-day power reserve with display on the back, manual winding etc.
