any fundamentalist/purist does not discriminate between Radiomir and Luminor. They like ALL vintage Panerai model FIRST then, and only then, have preferences. The 3646, 2533 derivatives, such as 232, 249, 449 (and other such references) etc are on top of every Die-Hard Panerista preferences. The raise of the Luminor has a lot to do....IMO....with modern day tourists turned Panerai aficionados, that identify with the "macho" look and the immediate recognition that the Luminor gets on buses, trains and airplanes After years and years, the fact that the REAL men, the WWII chappies that used to sink boats, were doing it with..daintier..models like the 3646, is still lost on the modern-day-machos Having said that, congratulations for your handsome 685

Indeed a great beauty!

... I didn't appreciate the vintage look of this dial until recently. At first I thought the bezel engraving was too bold, then I saw a 3646 and now appreciate this watch more.

47mm is the new 42mm. Check it on my underdeveloped wrist: The OEM strap is way too thick. Mine is with a custom made one. Cheers, Nilo ...

if one stops at the mere dimensions 44mm/45mm/47mm, he might be justified for thinking...too big. Many a person have been surprised about how well a particular model fits they wrist. I always suggest a trip to a boutique and trying various models on the w...
