I have a theory....

the REAL collectors have no use for the 232 and the fair-weather Paneristi are prone to...fashion. Some models have been "in fashion" for a very short time and faded into oblivion. Same goes for 249, 127...and many more. Today's clients (not fellow underground nuts) waltz into a boutique and buy the latest model with a nice, in house movement in it. Paying real money for a model encasing a "dirt cheap" Unitas? Not for my money, thank you very much. All the above is strictly based on MY personal opinion..ok?

This has got to be one of the best shots of a 232 brown dial ever. For some reason, 232 resale values have been quite soft lately, can't really explain it.

I need a 587 to go with my 673. I came close about 6 months ago but someone beat me to it. Thanks for the photos! Kent
