Interesting summary as usual :)

The Panerai purist you are referring to should ideally get a vintage but I do agree though and hear you.. I am a big fan of the Panerai Hommage as u you know. Still I really like the 995. is has everything I like about a Panerai. I know some other Paneristis who fall in love and couldn’t resist. It’s a matter of taste at the end.
But yes it’s a modern Panerai. I had the same movement on my 572. i never had a problem with it. The watch is from 2015 . Now my cousins wears is with proud by the way.
I would love to see in 47. in this case it could loose some of its charm . Maybe not .

Hi pam lovers.. specifically pam 995 Can I trouble you guys for a review of the watch - particularly interested in the movement reliability and wearability for smaller wrist sizes Thanks in advance Ym
I agree...

I had the pleasure of trying it on a few months ago and felt it was a great fit for my 7.5" wrist. Can't speak for this particular movement but I happen to own a number of modern PAM's with in-house movements that have proven to be rock solid and super ac...
Looks wise it’s nice

Nothing bad to say about that. Brand wise? I don’t think it’s worth the money. Once again my opinion...

to "pick a fight". I know there are a lot of disgruntled ex-Panerai enthusiasts out there (as a matter of fact, I happen to belong to the category) that would choose any forum to VENT their frustration. I'll let it pass BUT please don't do it anymore in.....
I can tell you my input on Panerai's modern movements

P.9010 in the PAM 682 that was cheapened and taken out and replaced by a Richmond group generic P.900. Take a look at their website you can’t even get details or a thumbnail of it. Then apply it my original comment that Panerai went down hill from earlier...
Thanks for that info

Certainly very helpful for potential customers and needs to be factored into the buying decision
Can you read/comprehend?
By: ripper444 : January 22nd, 2020-12:18
It’s a newer watch and release. I stated my personal experience with Panerai. If you don’t agree that’s fine no problem. If you can’t read and put it together as far as relevance to this comment then seek hooked on phonics!
I can read. I can comprehend.

A hypothetical. If I were to ask the members of this forum their experiences of (let's just say) a Bvlgari Octo Finissimo, I would hope those that have owned that particular watch or a watch with the same caliber to chime in. Some may have owned it for fe...
It’s an absolutely amazing watch.

To me the best Radiomir 1940 in 45mm out there. The green dial with its gold hands a great. The doomed Saphire glas fits very well. So An absolut balanced and beautiful Panerai . ...
Great look!! I too like that reference

There was a time when I owned over 13 different Panerai. Based on my experience they were always reliable, rugged and appeared and worked very well. My collection is less than half now. I do not own any more 47 mm Panerai. Just my preference for a smaller...

But saw one in the flesh at Panerai Boutique recently. The olive matte green dial with the domed crystal is amazing and provided a different yet vintage look. This is the nearest one and almost similar to the Pam 911 dial. If I am not considering another ...

is that this model, as many other..modern..ones, belongs to the category: I like it, I don't like it. If you do, you buy one, if you don't you don't buy one. It's a scaled down model of an historical reference and as such a definite NO-NO for a Panerai pu...

matter of money. I don't have enough to buy one, so I'll have to make do with reproductions..BUT..the reproductions have to be as close as possible to the original in "spirit". IMO obviously. There's no stigma in liking the 995 or even the 123 for that ma...
