Reflection on the 1628 and the soon to be launched 2025

The 2025 is a special edition for the Anniversary of the Paneristi. It’s a watch in dimensions at least that has been long sought after by being essentially a base 1950 44mm.

It would be a dream purchase for me except that PVD finish on the case, although I would also prefer a black dial like the 1628

See the thing is, I really want that 2025, but with the aesthetic of the 1628.
I think its a dream for many not just me. For the life of me I can’t reconcile why such a model has never been made,

So I respectfully ask Panerai. What’s the delay?

I also do not have issues with beige (aged) superluminova… as long as it looks optically authentic. I think from this perspective, they have done an outstanding job with the case!

There's always something.....
