You're right....
it's an historical watch, difficult to get, risky to get (lots fake watches), and pricy. Having one is just a dream. However the modern reinterpretation is really good. A keeper ....

Great to see them side by side. Of modern Panerais, the 587 and 249 are my favorites, followed by the 721, despite its controversy.
