I had an 18K Panerai buckle once and to my surprise the gold had a stress crack right at the bend.
This would happen if the gold is not annealed prior to bending.
I melted it with additional gold added and made one similar to yours, a bit heavier though.
Now that I see guys making their own leather straps I am tempted to do some too.
Do you like the Panerai gold buckles ?
I think they are to small in relation to the size of the watch. Your opinion please.

Where did you get it ordered from? And btw, what PAM is that? Don'T seem to have seen a luminor like that b4?! Was it a special order just for you from OP? Or did you sorta modify the piece yourself? Cheers Stephen
