Thanks Horo, firstly, there was no particular reason for me to choose 388. I am not particularly fussy about number.
I feel that most of the Luminor look the same and for some reason, I have always liked Radiomir more than Luminor.
I have held back for so long as I have always wanted an auto Radiomir with sandwich dial, at a price that I can afford.
When this 388 came out, I started looking for it and left my contact with AD in MY, SG and TW. None called even until today.
As I walked around Siam Paragon in Bangkok, I saw the Panerai Boutique and walked in.
To my surprise, they have 2! After 10 minutes, I decided to take it there and then.
Oh, 388 is just a nice model number and came as a bonus for me.

i always like to ask this...is there a reason for choosing the 388? most would start with a Luminor...is there a reason for choosing a Radiomir? what are the other choices you considered before triggering this one best, Horo

i try to visit every PAM boutique in every city that i visit. the manager kindly allowed me to snap a few pictures inside as well. like you, i prefer a Radiomir over Luminor, mostly. again, congrats on your new watch!! and may it be the first of many. bes...

Ha, another one and I am off from PAM. If it's not because of a full frame camera and my end of year trip, I would have bitten the bullet. :( But, I am still doing intensive calculation everyday, hahaha...
