It never ceases to amaze me how much a simple strap change can transform the entire look and feel of a watch.
Yesterday, I visited my incredibly kind (and exceptionally generous) AD. As a small token of appreciation for a recent larger acquisition – an IWC Eternal Calendar – he gifted me two new leather straps for my Panerai 670. A lovely gesture following a significant deal.
Naturally, I couldn’t resist trying one on right away. I went with the green strap first, and I have to say, I’m truly surprised how much it changes the vibe of the 670. It feels like a completely different watch now – and I absolutely love it!

It's the magic of straps:
they really can change completely the look of a watch. For me, your new green strap goes wonderfully with the watch: it makes it less severe, "friendlier" (if that makes sense), and I prefer the look to the one with the original strap. Have a great weeken...
I agree; the new strap
gives the watch a sportier and more subdued look in a good way. It’s fascinating how such a change can impact the watch’s character.
It’s a fun and creative way to personalize our timepieces.
For me, though, this whole strap-changing idea is new. Until now, I’ve always worn my Panerais with their original straps – on all of them! So this olive suede is my first real venture into the world of strap swapping. ☺️

like me, used to recognize 2 distinct phases of addition to the brand: Paneritis, when you couldn't help buying one after another. Wrist-strap-titis, when you bought strap, after strap and changed them, more often than your underpants, a-la-Yacomino Lolll...
