I tried it on at the Boca boutique. I happened to have been wearing my PVD PAM00009
Holding them side by side, the new watch is a bit darker overall. It is hard to discern in artificial light, and I could not take comparison photos due to the embargo on the piece.
I think the big difference is that the DLC case will not patinate over time like PVD, and obviously the brown numerals that look hand painted.

What are the thoughts on the non matching lume color on the hands versus the color of the numerals?

Nice but do we have to pay 2500-3000 for some pvd or dlc
The same basic watch with the same 3 day movement is available for more of less 5500-6000 This one will be 8500-9000
It is a great looking vintage inspired old school Panerai
But I am more than a little confused by the pictures in some it seems really close to the original colour finish yet in others it seems to be a really dark black and of course a prefer the lighter look. Marc

The temptation is always there but...
I am not sure if it's good value with the P6000 movement. Besides, on a personal level, I am not too comfortable wearing relatively larger watches these days.
