it fills your wrist as never before. The TOO big "effect" only comes from the fact that in the...world out there...people are used to watches that can be found inside an Easter EGG! Purists and Panerai lovers would indeed frown upon this model, because of the logo. You could get a PAM249 "Cali" that is considered one of the most sought after model for quite a stretch. Not only but the thinner movement the 249 uses (a Unitas) makes if even more wearable.You can also look at the PAM448. You won't be wearing a big watch but a BBP=Big Beautiful Panerai

I fear that if I did take the plunge, it would eventually eat at me that the lugs do hang over. I think I’ll likely just remain an admirer of these pieces due to my small bone structure.

I think I’m going to borrow my friend’s piece to see how I feel about it after wearing for a few days. The charm is there from trying it on this weekend, but I wonder how I might feel wearing it for a few days especially since the lugs do go past the edge...
To me it look actually quite good on your wrist.
