the dome of modern 47mm 1950's case model is obtained through a different process, it's not perfectly spherical like the 4 mentioned and it's curvature doesn't produce for the "distortion". I will, however, continue in my "quest"...LOLLLL

What is it about the dome and distortion of that crystal? Is it unique or are there other Panerais with the same crystal?
That's a good question, Nicolas....
off the top of my head, the Fiddy's "opposite": 217 has the same distortion of course....Let me check couple of models I have in mind. Updates to come...

Yhe crystal distortion is part of the pam 127 charm. Old school ...
Yes, it does (the 690) as well as other 1950's models.....
but the distortion is not there. I've looked at the 605 and the 673 and they have no distortion. The dome is not as spherical as the Fiddy's one. Even the Radiomir 290 has a domed glass but no distortion
