Full of anticipation.
I did it again. No! No!! No!!! No!!!!!!!!!
I have sworn to myself not to buy another watch in 1.000 years.
Now - after 3 months (sic!) - I did it again and pulled the trigger.
5 reasons for this:
1. I am very very weak!
2. These permanent temptations and seductive posts here on this wonderful place („thanks a lot“ especially to Ahoi :-/)
3. This watch has been on my wish list for a long time
4. I want to celebrate how well I was able to get through these challenging times so far. I am very thankful and humble for that.
5. I was able to make a partly trade-in again. So this deal seems “reasonable”.
The watch will arrive in the next two weeks. Will keep you posted. 😊

We all make the same pledge and it goes straight out the window when we see something special. Enjoy !

The only problem in my experience is that the goal posts keep moving 🤔
Does this maxim apply to every temptation? Ciao Thomas
The Fiddy. The 127. I did it. Amitiés Thomas
You are so right, dear Tony!
I can reassure you: It was just a short moment of weakness. 😊 But now desire and joyful anticipation prevail. Best Thomas
So nice... Thank you. I have a little surprise for you. You won‘t believe it... 😎
You are asking too much. 😁 It’s a different strap than on the 721!!!! Traraaa!! A small step for you as the “king of straps” but a giant leap for me. 😊 (Free interpretation of a famous quote).
I told my wife that I made a fantastic
deal by trading two old watches I don’t wear anymore above market prize and buying the Fiddy below market prize. So our family fortunes have increased. She looked at me for a long time and ... accepted it. 😊
I am not sure she believed it. But for sure she ... accepted it. 😊
I have studied law in Austria and have a master degree. But am not a lawyer. So: yes. Perhaps. One day? 😊
Yes. There is a well-known quote
in Austria from Alfred Polgar: „Die Lage ist hoffnungslos aber nicht ernst!“ That means that „the situation is hopeless but not serious.“ I think this describes our mental situation as watch lovers very well. Hahahahaha!
Yes, dear Leopold, this strategy seems to work perfectly. But it must not used too inflationary...
