i've seen it in flesh but unfortunately i didn't take a pic at that time...Plexi gives the vintage feel (personally i prefer it & it works well with the attitude of 372) !

attached a pic from google...left is Plexi ! (credits: unknown but surely THANKS !).

I have yet to see one in the metal or even a photo of one posted online. I'm assuming it uses the same domed sapphire crystal as the PAM 422?

the sapphire one has a different shape. The plexi dome starts..at the bezel. The Sapphire one, being thicker (I suppose) first stick out of the bezel and then it starts "doming" ...

The difference between the plexi and sapphire is not that noticeable in photos. Not that it is a bad thing. The more it looks like a domed plexi the better.

Honestly in pics you can't really tell the difference. I'll have to see one in the metal.

if i've to get on technically, Plexi has a refractive index of 1,49 vs Sapphire 1,76 you'll see Plexi a bit more 'hazy' & Sapphire will be more 'crystal' clear...& esp. the way light reflects/penetrates. both look good on 372 & at the end it depends on wh...
