A visit to the Panerai Boutique in Rome.

Last August, our dear FX introduced us to this nice limited edition, so I have nothing else to add about it that has not been said already. This original and exclusive strap called my attention, so I wanted to see how it felt on my wrist.

A pic of the main shop window.  (sorry for the blurry pic)

The watch felt great on the wrist, the dial has a special tonality (some kind of anthracite)  exclusive for this model that makes it very attactive. The strap looks and feels great on the wrist.. I also tried on one of my fav modern Panerais, the 655, it looked nice on the red strap, but I rather like it on the OEM strap.

The Spanish Steps engraving on the caseback.

A cool CarboTech toy, a very light watch easy to wear despite of the size. The texturized dial looked amazing.

And finally, the cool Mike Horn ltd ed, a watch full of small details that make it a very special piece, loved it.

I'd like to thank the boutique staff for their kind welcome, especially to Andrew for his sympathy and very professional attention. It's nice to find people who enjoy what they do and are able to pass it on to customers, thank you. Vte
