Great point, thank you 🙏🏼

I had sold off my original couple of Pams, but was always enamored enough to want one available, for when the feeling hits…which is why I bought the 372 as my one and only. But then, as you point out, the influences of Sergio, Yacomino, Ahoi, Aperna and others really make you appreciate certain pieces on a deeper level. But it’s a slippery slope for me, so I need to curb my enthusiasm for a couple other references I really admire. The 605 is one of them. Nevertheless, below are a couple of 1075 lume shots from previously. This is just after ~5 sec of exposure to ambient light.

A Panerai weekend for me

Today, I wanted to try the destro. I see some posts in which people where their destro on the left wrist, as so. Do you think this looks too awkward and out of place…or does anything go when it comes to Panerais? ...

Great summer watch..

Panerai (I respect the brand ethos for others) is not my kind of watch but I love this one as it is less obtrusive.

Thought about it for a while

1. That’s a fine-looking PAM right there. Love the dial color. Share a lume shot when you can 2. PAMs are PAMs, especially the 44-47mm variety. Unless you are Mr Terminator and have a wrist which could swallow such a monstrosity, the destro will look just...

I had a 359 that I pined over for years but ended up buying as an impulsive purchase at the wrong time. Got into a whole lot of financially trouble Bc of it, and that made me swear to never buy another PAM. I know realize that I won’t be able to keep my w...

Looks perfect! Great choice!

You’re correct, the dial on this one does actually have a subdued, delicate, and even feminine feature…

if it wasn’t 47mm The usually darker dial colors of Pams definitely reinforces a macho, military aggressiveness. In the case of this 1075, I think it’s the contrast of those qualities in one watch that caught my attention.

Definitely, this is one I would have liked to loan you to wear and photograph.

I like your style of objective horological journalism.

Let me know!

Thumbs up from my side . I like that model .

You gotta see in real though. And it’s not At all too big for your wrist .

Thank you, Ahoi. I was thinking that this dial might have been nicer in a 1940 case.

I still don’t really understand what Panerai HQ’s intention or inspiration was for this watch.

Me neither. I like to though in the destro case.

Which is beautiful in person. Looks great on your wrist and the way you wear it is no different from the way I wear mine on my right wrist...😉 ...
