Hello Arronax! I own both and have just checked...

They have same case and lugs profile. They seat same way on my wrist.
I’m enclosing some pictures for you.
What i have observed is that these watches sometimes slightly change the way they seat depending on the straps both in leather suppleness and the position of holes which require the strap a bit more tight or loose.

Does anybody own both? I happened to try them back to back and I'd swear the 372 wore flatter than the 673 although cases look similar.
I guess that would really boil down to if the 372 you tried on was the newer version with the sapphire or not
For many years the 372 had plexi and would have had the exact same dimensions as the 673.
Both were plexi
The caseback fell flatter on the wrist. I wonder if the lug design is different.
I have never worn a 372...
nor seen it "live" so I can't answer your question. I know that a slight difference in lugs design (or slight defects in particular pieces) could make a great difference to the "on wrist" feeling.
