heterozygote twins indeed....

I prefer the longer hour's hand of the Fiddie, for instance but I'm sure that the bigger crown, makes winding the 1080 an easier task. Because of the smaller crown, I've always found winding the Fiddie and the 217 a bit of a chore. The absence of the 1950 on the 1080 makes it "purer" and I like quite a bit. The smaller bridge and inverted lever make the Fiddy stand out from recent models. Walking into a Panerai boutique today, having the chance to see both models side by side, I would buy the........1080. But since that cannot happen and I already have the Fiddie, I'll just continue to like it.....too much!!!

The design is more balanced, less bulkier . Therefore easier to wear and to use it as an daily rocker. The fiddy is still kind of outstanding in its unique look. I prefer the big hands of the fiddy. The dial of the 1080 various depending of the strap : gr...

I love Both. Currently in the honeymoon though. Then 1080 will be for me for sure the better daily rocker. And the whole story behind it makes it more special for me😊don’t think I will ever sell it 😊

Just love the fiddy, a classic. Also, agree about the hour hand...

It appears that the 1080 has slightly smaller seconds display; maybe just an optical illusion due to perspective. The longer hour and minute hands do look nice on the 127. Is the 1080 have a brushed titanium case? Thanks
Nicely said :) was

Yes, the winding of the 1080 is for sure easier than of the Fiddy. You can say that the fiddy is true old timer in terms of look and feel 😊
