Rolex, for me, is like Bourbon. I love almost all types of whisk(e)y, but I've never developed a taste for Bourbon. I love almost all types of watches, but I've never developed a taste for Rolex. And that's the beautiful thing about having choices in life: there are literally millions of people who disagree with me and love their Rolexes and love their Bourbon - but we all get to go home happy

My Rolexes are gone now...
I’ve had many and enjoyed them but Panerai has taken over for me...relaxing in Jamaica on vacation has allowed me to bond with this watch...a keeper perhaps? ...
Speculators, fashionistas and tourists...
are the ones you're referring to, right? Once Panerai gets under your skin, it tends to...linger, in my experience

The service from Panerai is shocking and that is why I sold mine and happily never looked back. That of course is not to say they don't make nice watches but the after sales service and reliability are not up to scratch.

I find the argumentation feeble at best. Deleting a company because of a bad..service..experience is, well.....feeble (for me of course and with all due respect). On record the worse and I mean WORSE service I've ever received from any watch making compan...

I'm sure that the 2nd Submersible it's not too distant from your..watchbox. For Subs fans Panerai is churning out a sugar candy after the other

passionate about them or because they make a lot of sense, mostly. On occasions, you do them because they looked like a...good idea at the time. These, you get to re-do everytime you get off the bed on the..right side... IMO

I actually started my day with my GMT BLRO because it has not seen any serious wrist time in quite a while
They have lasted for about a half hour. I then went to my JLC memovox and now on to a submersible. There is something about Panerai that keeps making you come back
After I bought the first Panerai.....
the 249, it took me about 1 month, to totally abandon every other watch I had in the box. The one that lasted the longest, a Rolex Submariner. I still have it but I don't even remember last time I used it
47mm is a lot of millimiters....

It does pull you back I have had a few models in the past but love this one and am thinking of adding one with plexi to complement it!
