That is quite a nice, hidden feature.

The gear with a spiral shape is an understated power reserve indicator. ...

Very cool

Nico, does this one have a graduated view? Or does it make discrete jumps from day to day..

Like 8 to 7 to 6 or does it show 8, than partial disappears to 7, etc?

+1

the JLC movement 8dd, encased in the 190-197-198 series. Not only was pretty handsome and very.....VERY.....V E R Y smooth, it also had a PR at the back, in the shape of a nice Panereai "leaf", luminova coated so that it could be seen also in pitch black ...

Uber cool this one my friend!

“Complication”…. Power reserve indicator on back of movement! As Sergio discusses my lov for the Pr indicator on back was the JLC implementation and used in the 190 series and I enjoyed on the 2002/7 2002/9 movements back in the day Bottom two photos take...

I've just noticed....

after the Perez "uncoverings" that the base plaque of the movement, where the second F is located, there's a stamp: PZA. Uhmmmmm

The exposee of Perez...

 By: sergio : August 11th, 2021-21:15
shows a lot of pictures of movements with "non Panerai" stamps...I personally don't know what PZA could mean, though. As far as the accuracy, ETA, UNITAS, are universally recognoised as pretty accurate movements, albeit not so "sophisticated"

LOL
