I particularly like the pam 233. It's one of my favourites but I cannot wear 44mm 1950 cases due to my small wrist

Hello - my humble PAM collection

Hi fellow Paneristi, New member here, sharing my small collection for your perusal. I've been a brand fan for many years, drawn to the innovative military history and overall aesthetic. Didn't get my first Panerai until my lovely wife gifted me the PAM233...

Sadly, yes

Despite the marketing hype, bulk metallic glass does scratch, however in the case of this watch, I've found it's mainly because of the slightly brushed finish that the micro "ridges" of the brushing are what actually scratch. It takes a lot - I'm not deli...

Welcome Daniel, thanks for sharing and making the introduction.

233 was a long time favourite of mine, a very nice gift to get! And a Sub was my very first Panerai so very partial towards the Submersible line (if only we would see more at 44mm).

Thank you!

It was a very unexpected, yet extremely appreciated gift, indeed. I hear you on the 44mm Subs - I don't mind 47mm as my wrist is just over 7", but 44mm is the sweet spot for many folks. I'm particularly bummed out that the new Nery collection won't come i...

For me, 42mm is probably the right size. However I’m so used to the 44mm that when I get the 42mm on my wrist it just doesn’t seem right.

I’ve not seen the 42mm Carbotech in the flesh yet, that I have some interest in. It’s been a long long time since I bought a Panerai, and today I’ve kept only one, but I’ve been watching closely for a Sub that might appeal hence the potential for the smal...

Agree on the PAM pricing challenge

As a brand fan, it's difficult to balance emotion vs practicality around their ever increasing price structures. I love the Carbotech, Ceramic GMT, and others that offer a technical innovation in case materials along with their in-house 3/8/10 day movemen...

Actually I like the white one. It reminds me this one...

if the Submersible line is what...floats your boat...the new CEO is a man after your own heart. He LOVES submersibles and he's producing a ton of them. Ciao

Personally I have a big soft spot for the 233 GMT...

wrist size

Thanks for the collection compliment! We all carry a bit of a burden when it comes to these things, don't we. My wrist is just over 7" which makes 40mm the min spec case size, which I also find to be limiting. There are a number of vintage pieces I just c...

Another shot
