The proliferation of L.E. in number ever higher (a 1500pcs L.E. is, IMO, a bad joke). Still the brand..exploded..after Asian buyers had enough of being "milked like golden cows" for every T-dialled model in circulation smile Had some of the "insiders" been a bit more...forward looking...we would, probably, be chasing after T-dialled 2-4-9 etc etc Again and as usual, the above reflects my PERSONAL opinion! smile

Panerai didn't...start to go down because of the Brooklyn fiasco. It kept on climbing for quite a number of years after that

Clearly not all Panerai customers knows about that ,they where going down for me though,

Not to mention this days when they sell watches that can’t get even close to the water

Oh.....

so YOU were "not impressed" and started looking at Panerai in a different way. I, for instance, bought some 30 to 35 Panerais AFTER the Brooklyn fiasco

I used to be up on all stuff Panerai until i could no longer follow all the new models.

is an L.E. with the Brooklyn bridge engraved on the back. One of the owners, having experienced some problems with his piece, brought it to the N.Y.C. distributor and to his chagrin found this nice movement inside Image obtained on the Web. Big stink, Pan...

there are companies and company managements that would not...ignore...the possibility of maximizing profit. Also, we're talking about a L.E. with a relative low cost and not a PAM21 I'm not justifying Panerai's actions by any stretch of the imagination, I...
