it is an element that make these 47mm watches with the big 1950 cases unique. So my vote is to stay as it is for the 47mm 1950 cases. For the 44mm 1950 cases i would not mind. alepos
As Panerai inpsired themself from a Vintage model, the 6152, it may be a bit less domed than in the 127 or 217... A bit like this: But yes, as the case of the 127 / 217 is very close to the original Vintage watch, I can't imagine that we'd have a flat cry...
I thought I would share a pic of my 127 with an aftermarket flat crystal. The original owner had the crystal swapped out due his inablility to get over the distortion created by the domed crystal. I have a few extral flat crystals if you are interersted. ...
If you change it for a flat one, this is all the Fiddy which is flat..This is very weird. BUT, if you go half way, not flat, but not so domed...Maybe it could be the right thing... Like on a Vintage one, which is not so domed... Best. Nicolas
