I am guessing they only want submersibles in the 1950 cases. Either way the 1024 is a classic design. Perhaps Panerai will make a luminor case line of subs in the future.

I had the newer PAM 682

The accordion strap was not comfortable because the rubber had gaps and would leave those gap marks on the inside and outside of my wrist. I prefer the original diver strap for these.
