I have been more than 30 times in Venice. So I know what you mean.

But as a tourist it was for one time a purifying and relaxing feeling to enjoy a good espresso in Portopiccolo among 10 other tourists instead of La Serenissima among 10.000 other tourists. 😎

The problem was that there was a speed limit of a little bit less than 130 km/h. My spouse is more on the „crazy side“ of driving. But I have learned to live with that. 🤣 Best, Thomas
