Of course there is always different views. However, for me the biggest lever is personal preference, and here I always liked Panerai. I bought in 2003 the 40mm PAM125 - still own and love it!

Seriously thinking about adding either the PAM01272 or the PAM01270 to my collection. I’m not an expert on the brand. What are your honest thoughts on these models?

But would never commit due to reputation. I think a lot of people are just jaded by the repetitive nature of their offerings, awkward mash up of heritage and cutting edge materials and general avoidance of doing what people really want from them. Bit of a...

not as bulbous as the old 40mm Luminor. People who don’t like anything but 47mm Radiomir or 44mm Luminor will be outraged 😂 That’s ok because it’s not their wrist or money.

I've always appreciated the Panerai look while finding the size of most of them just out of bounds. So I'm all in favor of their current push to maintain good Panerai looks and proportions in smaller sizes. I think this went beautifully with the 42mm Subm...
