Defintely not a success...

...I also think that this auction went well below expectations. Too many unsold lots, including few highly collectible 3646, can not be considered a success.

PAM21? Well...unfortunately the auction took place couple of days before I've received the December salary on my bank account...otherwise you would have seen some good wristshot... smile smile  smile

In Paris on December 8, 2014, the "Panerai Only" auction in collaboration with Artcurial Auction House set record prices for the sale of a vintage Panerai Radiomir Egiziano and a PAM21. Full press release is in our News Central forum here: http://news.wat...

seems I have a different opinion.....it was a disaster

Many pieces sold for much less than most would expect. per vendome did ot well and vontage neither pam 21 a worldrecord ? Maybe but that makes me think that the previous 21 was probably sold 10 years ago somethimes you see them for sale for an insane 200k...

That´s why you don´t work ...

I understand the auction house will use such a title for the press release but I would not use the same title to write a post about it :-) And I don't think Anthony works for Artcurial :-)

Well... Not exact.... The WRs are not exact.

I remember when the Pam 21 was more around 120 K euros some years ago... Around 2007. And I saw many vintage Panerai going for 150 K Euros. Even more! Let's remember that some months ago, a vintage Panerai ( 6152 with a plexy bezel ) came for circa 300 K ...

Personally, I think the auction price for the PAM21 was ridiciously cheap

I've always thought they were worth USD$200k+, so whoever got this one got it at a steal IMO. - AT

I agree with you. I also expected the 21 to fetch a much

higher amount. Damn, if only I had...foreseen it..hahahaha

anthony, that watch was for sale for euro 15k in 1997...

Today at 100 or 120k I would not call it ridicously cheap but ridicously expensive Can you name me 1 other watch made in the last 20 years that went X 8 ??? One ? I can't not one single AP, rolex, patek, breguet, or any other brand made such a watch

On second thought, maybe the ones....
