I purchased this one on the advice of the dealer...I asked for THE MOST RELIABLE machine they had...parts service etc...they recommended the VBM...so far no trouble.
I also like these watch-espresso combo photos! I admire your devotion to good coffee...
But I would worry about the repair bills. I have this assumption that espresso machines, such as these, must be complicated to maintain. Hence, I am content with my Nespresso machine!

Not in the same ...galaxy. Italian machines can be temperamental but if you take care of them (no hard water) you will wonder how you lived without one...another tip ...La Colombe coffeee!
Until now I dont had any issues. It’s of course a bit more work but it’s for sure worth it. The taste is just so much better. I do like as well the look if it.
I used to have a Nespresso machine too. As written above it’s a different taste. I Personally promised as well to not use a Nespresso anyomore due to environmental care . If i am in my van or vacation I use the good old fashion Espresso boiler
