Just like anywhere else, some safe places,some not so safe.
One of our most popular shopping districts/tourist attraction is a good place to steer away from. Not so long ago a car full of guys pulled up to the the Apple Store, walked in and grabbed a bunch of electronics and walked out, got in the car and drove away while the shoppers just stood by and watched and recorded it on their phones.
Happened in KC at a prominent Rolex AD quite a while ago,
armed off duty police officer at the door every hour they are open at both stores now.
