Scary story.

 By: ChristianDK : May 28th, 2019-11:16
Copenhagen high street has thieves going after watches as well. One guy will run up and grab his arms around you, holding you in a lock so you can’t move. Then an other guy runs up and goes straight for your watch. Then they run off in different direction...

OMG! Seriously??

I would have thought Copenhagen would be a much safer city .. I guess no place is really safe , except I felt very safe in Tokyo.

Japan is unique in that sense

Obviously, that sign was not made by a watch lover

Otherwise the hands would be pointing to ten past ten. Stay safe out there, people. NickO

How exactly are you supposed to read the elapsed time? See my previous comment on clearly not the work of a watch lover, LOL! NickO

You actually got me thinking.....

I remember visiting Germany and when you got on the people-mover at the airport, the rubber straps that hang from the ceiling that you put your hand through, were made to look exactly like an IWC Big Pilot. So everyone was wearing a Big Pilot! Wouldn’t it...

Its a problem in all major city’s .

Because its quick cash for the thiefs with those crazy prices for some populair watches . So said this happens 👎🏻🤬

I was on allert when i bought my Baume & Mercier Classima in Berlin city. But national workday set many police on the streets, so it was the safetest city in Europe. When i bought my Longines Weems, i was also allert on the streets. Walking with an expens...

This is typical for Europe, unfortunately.

We have no class anymore, everything is allowed and everything is possible in our 'free' cities. And it only gets worse. Why do Singapore, Tokio and Hong Kong not have this horrible problem. George
