MIGUEL ANGEL JIMENEZ WINS FIRST PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS MAJOR TITLE

With a closing round of 2-under par for a total score of 269, the tournament record of 19-under par, he secured a three-stroke victory ahead of Steve Stricker, Joe Durant and Gene Sauers.

For the "most interesting man in golf" this Major victory was only a matter of time. He held or shared the 54-hole lead in a senior Major already twice, the 2016 Senior Open Championship (tied third) and in the 2016 U.S. Senior Open (tied second)).
