For the money. I have the SS blue dial one that won best chrono of the year at SIHH in 2016 so this salmond dial was a no brained for me. You will not find many, if any of these on the secondary market, owners buy then for the great movement at a great price...Jim

I’d seen an earlier bronze version that shows corrosion on the case, so be aware. Movement is super cool.

This is a bronze/aluminum

This is a bronze/aluminum case that is supposed to patina slowly and very nicely, I’ll let you know how it goes as time passes… Jim

Congratulations on your latest incoming!

It looks absolutely great. The only thing I was wondering is why you went for a steel buckle? Looking forward to seeing more of it here 👍🏻

The steel buckle

The steel buckle was Needed because of the bigger holes in the Panerai strap. The one thing I do not like about the Montblanc tang buckle is the pin for the buckle is very small and in my opinion too weak, the holes in the stock strap are very small so if...

Thanks for the explanation 👍🏻

The new Salmond dial hasn’t lost any time in days now. I do have a friend that had lots of trouble with the 2016 model, I’m hoping I will be able to wear both for a long time without any issues...Jim

I was able to order one
