Nope. Long term, they have lost all credibility as an independent watch authority.

But if they can finally have the brands produce things we the collector community have been asking for then I for one am glad they exist.
They still put out some interesting articles, such as the recent one on diving in lake superior.
Also, these Hodinkee editions seem to show watch companies the demand for reasonably sized watches with less text, no date windows and classic styling. So, that's positive. However, I do find the hype around the LEs to be insufferable.
