This is one of the nicest watch in the Villeret collection and to date that gorgeous movement has not been used/milked in the current Montblanc offerings.
I had the pleasure of seeing a NOS back in 2019 and I regretted not getting it.

Villeret 1858 Seconde au Centre Retour-à-Zéro

Haven't worn this beauty for quite some time. I just love the dial and the case shape and at 41mm it wears a lot lighter than my blue 47mm Villeret chronograph. Thxs for looking and enjoy your week! ...
A very under rated watch!

Sublime movement even if the watch is on the thick side. Montblanc should have not renamed these MInerva watches and allowed them to maintain the MInerva name because they are in a class of their own.
yes that is a point

on the other hand Montblanc has improved the finish of the calibers and dials significantly with these older models

Sadly I saw it on the same day that I saw my Vintage Pulsographe. And I can only choose to get one of them. In the end I chose the Vintage Pulsographe as that is my first column wheel chronograph.
