Risked a short sleeved day…

Before summer fully peters out. Luckily a warmer destination beckons in October, where the polo shirts can do a last hurrah for the year.

Decided on the last generation Minerva Pythagore from the Frey era. Shows how good proportions never age - and to my eyes at least, that I can easily pull off a 34mm watch, if designed well πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»βš–οΈ

A very important question

Do you guys know whether Montblanc services those older Minervas? There was, perhaps still is, exactly same one to grab for pennies but I'm already bit discouraged because my last purchase was problematic in regards to servicing...

Haven’t had mine serviced by Montblanc so far πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

There are quite some independent watch makers / specialists, who can take on the task, though. Was your last problem with a Minerva watch?

I had problem with a GP, which is exponentially more present... I was mainly curious whether MB does service those watches at all. In case of ordering new parts etc independent watchmakers won't help much I'm afraid.

No, not GP. That's actually a 'funny' story

The story begins about 3 months ago, when I had to service my newly purchased GP Richeville. Since I live in a small, low income city most 'watchmakers' here do mostly battery/glass change. There's perhaps only three that repair mechanical watches. Becaus...

Yes, MB will service Minerva

I just checked with my contact at MB and they said for sure they can and will service Minerva’s from as far back as β€œ1906” … πŸ™‚ 🀝
