My 38 mm Minerva Pythagore cal 48 gets a new blue suede strap today

This neo-vintage rare bird was made by Minerva in 1999 … just before the brand was sold. I estimate no more than 30 pieces made. Almost impossible to find. πŸ˜…

Today we see Minerva calibers being reserved for only the very high-end pieces from Richemont. Minerva no longer appears on the dial (unfortunately).

I think this is the least seen of the 38 mm grande size. And the most alternative design as well. 🀝

As I gain more experience in this hobby, I gain more perspective. 38 mm, especially for a watch like this, is ideal for my 7 inch wrist. You wear it well!

This is a good example of why case diameter alone means very little. Look at the dial size here compared to the dial size of the laureato 38 mm. While both are 38 mm case diameter, the Minerva 38 mm wears bigger. But also not that the case is thinner than...
