Montblanc Time Walker Chronograph 100.

An opposition of styles, between the sapphire dial, the technical and very modern case made in titanium ( lugs and case back ), carbon fiber ( the mid case  wink,  and a traditional design for the movement, made by Minerva.

2 balance wheels, one for the movement, beating at 18, 000 vibrations per hour, and one for the chronograph, beating at... 360 000 vibrations per hour, which will measure the seconds ( 1 / 100th, 60 seconds ) and minutes ( 15 minutes ) with a superb level of finishings.

Hard to guess that this watch is 5 years old!

The odd thing is that this watch is only 30 meters water resistant. I would have expected 100 meters!

A last detail, the case is 45, 6 mm big... Not for everybody's wrist. Even if it wears a tad smaller than you can think in the real life.

Best,

Nicolas

Jerome Lambert had quite a liking for it. And with good reason! It may be far from the conventional choice but it’s one of those MB watches I still regularly scan classifieds for. So much Minerva spirit in it πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

So my memory is not all gone πŸ˜‰

in the watch world. When it comes to watches I am like a kid in a candy store and can't decide what I should go home with. Just when I think I've made a decision something else enters into the equation. Something from Mont Blanc is in the equation. I may ...
