Montblanc Heritage Monopusher Chronograph, with Salmon Dial
Aug 19, 2024,18:31 PM
I can’t get over how cool this watch is, just elegant in its simplicity. I was killing time before heading back to the airport and stopped through the Montblanc store. Photos do not do this watch justice. Especially the strap is really spot on, a sort of super dark brown-grey leather. The dial glows like copper. The chronograph action feels right, with a start/stop/reset like a stop watch. Nice touch are the three minute markers in the dial right, apparently from the old days of timing phone calls. That’s a function I could get used to.

And the 3/6/9 markers for the chrono minute subdial are a lovely touch. So, did it come with? 😊🤞🏻

I was in Switzerland and I only had a briefcase, so walking through customs on the way back into Germany would have meant either spending an extra hour filling out paperwork at midnight, or trying to sneak it in and then getting busted over trying to evad...
