Montblanc 1858 Split Second Titanium.

Jun 20, 2024,14:06 PM

A quick wrist shot of a watch which I could borrow to a good friend ( you know who you are ).

Still have to publish the review I wrote about this one...

It was and still is a very cool watch with its blue enamel dial ( yes, yes, you read well ) its titanium case and its superb split seconds movement.

Best,

Nicolas

No chronograph movement better than this Villeret chronograph movement.

Including Lemania calibers and even the Lange Datograph. This one just has so much charm. And it's beautifully finished. It's just a huge movement that necessitates a HUGE case.

Agreed. On all counts.

Cool watch both sides, very pity that it is too big for me.

I'm with smironov here...

but very much appreciate the aesthetic. And a wonderful streetscape, mon ami!

That’s simply stunning my friend.

Damn these MB Minerva movements are growing on me and especially the aged steel version with skeleton dial. The one you posted with this blue enamel dial is another Marcel too. When are you going to write a review by the way? Best, Laurent

Wait, I know this guy...

(un)fortunately yes...

... I found it borderline huge at that moment. But everyone was chiming their minute repeaters at that moment so perhaps I was distracted... that was something like the WPS equivalent to a typical Saturday night McDonald's parking lot youth car pose event...
