Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Annual Calendar with Minerva Movement
A new release with a Minerva movement can only be worthy of attention.
This
Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Annual Calendar:
- Displays the month with a red arrow at 12 o'clock and a peripheral rotating disc on which 'July' has been replaced by 'Minerva', commemorating the registration of the Minerva trademark in July 1887.
- Features a hand-painted, three-dimensional rotating globe representing the Northern Hemisphere and marked by an orange Greenwich meridian line encircled by a 24-hour scale with a Day & Night indication (an option for the Southern Hemisphere is available upon request).
- Is powered by the hand finished, manual winding Minerva calibre MB 14.58 beating at 18,000vph (2.5 Hz) and having 65h of power reserve.
Case: 42 mm diameter & 13.3 mm thickness.
Quite a charming piece, imo.
Best, Emmanuel
