Just had the chance to try the Montblanc 1858 Chronograph Tachymeter Bronzo..what do you think ? is not a small watch but thats to the combination of titanium and bronze is pretty light, seems lighter

than the Tudor bronze!  Of course the price is different so I am thinking!  Recent posts by MichaelC not so encouraging so I welcome some opinions on this piece smile

I tried it at the last SIHH. Even if I prefer the steel version with its blue dial, there's something I really love with this version.

The fact that Montblanc used a specific colour for the mouvement (bridges and bottom plate) which is perfectly in tune with the case, dial and strap in my opinion. If you love "warm" watches, this one is made for you. Best wishes Alkiro

Not my cup of tea

I think this one might turn out really well

This is an absolute gem. And Montblanc have also sweated the details to make it right for the years to come - i.e. the parts in contact with the skin are bronze tinted titanium for allergy reasons on the one hand and to keep discolouration more sensible. ...

Christian, my love for the watch itself remains high.

It is quite unfortunate what I have gone through on the service side, but if you get a good one that does not break, then you have one of the best watches going. The real pity is the lost opportunity by Montblanc. A strong service experience encourages an...
