Insane price tag and relative value is low.

What other watches are there in this category that are better value?

is a very nice caliber that will be hard to find at this price level anywhere else. And it has been sold in the pre-Montblanc area (although not finished this nicely) and in the early Montblanc years at much higher price levels (with also IMHO much nicer ... 

To my mind that watch was priced much too low at 24.000 Euros. And in case that would be the benchmark, any other offering of the brand must be too expensive - just think of the green LE100 chronograph at 28.000 Euro which also sold out within one year.

Namely, a basic/respectable old school handwind movement, shaped and decorated to a much higher standard than it usually is, cased in an excellent SS case, with high quality dial and hands. It's a really appealing combination. And this movement is definit... 

and decided to take a trip to the Montblanc boutique in London in search of this watch. I was hoping in a way that it would be a disappointment but unfortunately, it exceeded all my expectations and that was just the dial and how well it fitted my wrist. ...  

What keeps you from purchasing it?

which is scheduled to take place on 7 Feb! Hopefully, it will still be available then as it is the only piece in the UK. I have bought too many watches lately but this one is quite gorgeous (at least that is my excuse!! )
