I quit with Montblanc, rejected the steel 1858 and just yesterday sold my Exotourbillon Vasco Da Gama.
Quality Problems and a slight arrogance because of the success of the steel Version. Since then MB thinks they are Patek?!?!? Then I better stick to the original.
And as I now saw the fourth LE, I see my decision validated!
Still love my Montblanc pens and can stil confirm that the Minerva movement is a beauty, but from a watch collector's view, MB doesn't work anymore. This is just mho of course...

should have opted for never known custumor's specials (one-offs) but not 2LE of bronze for me a real turn-off, especially for all the early adapters of the the Rg and steel version

4x100 is too much. 2x100 in bronze makes it worse. Perhaps this should have been ultimate 58x white metal platinum/titanium in salmon/white enamel/porcelain dial. Then I am in

You build a company from the bottom up, not the other way around. What I mean, you get the right people and policies in place, then launch great products. Great products with zero support behind them are just that - 0.

Montblanc sold these pieces at a very decent price. For them to milk the movement sucesss after winning the GPHG Chrono award is not unexpected. I would have done the same from a business pt of view. But I did complain to my Montblanc rep here in Singapor...
