Your pictures prove that bigger is not always better...
...or more elegant. In the photo showcasing your black-dialed vintage piece with the Reverso GT, the vintage wins in the aesthetics department IMO hands-down. That's not to say that the GT isn't handsome, because it most certainly is, but the vintage's size and charming dial make it the winner between the two. Of course, the 70eme is the ne plus ultra for me in terms of Reversos now. 
I like the white-dialed vintage example you shared, as well. I wouldn't be able to choose a favorite between the two. Wearing the black or white versions would be entirely mood-based for me. That's why TWO is always better than one!

Modern versus Vintage, Martin?
They both have their pros and cons. The Vintage have Soul, expressed by their patina, the radium indexes, but also this lovely dirty look. Some would prefer the Clinical clean look of the Modern. To each his own, even if, personally, I love both of them.....

Reverso original, 60eme, 70eme ...
Are splendid Rectangular examples, indeed. The 60eme and 70eme are a kind of Hommage to the original, which is a particularly difficult exercize. This certainly is a superb thema of Collection... Best, Nicolas
