The patina is the evidence of the History the biography of the watch...
You guess the stories it lived, it's fascinating, and all the modern watches won't give you this feeling.
Even if the modern watches have of course other interests, nad beauty, too...
This Polaris is one of the best example, IMHO, of the passion, and the feeling it can bring you.
