...For the kind words on the watches and for the well thought out suggestion.

Have tried on the Compressor series as I love the way they look... just not on my wrist. Tried one a while ago but it looked huge on my wrist - I wish I could carry off the Master Compressor Geographic or even more "extreme" an Extreme World Chronograph. Even though the Grande GMT is big, the rectangular shape makes it wear "longer but smaller" (if that makes sense).

Let me try on a Master Compressor again, but I seem to now be heading back below 40mm in preference.

What would you add next?

 By: APROchrono : April 3rd, 2018-06:13
It’s day 4 and I know this is wrong, but have already begun looking for the next target... it’s an old bad habit of mine. Still loving both of these, but looking for the next aspiration. So here’s the question, if you had to add another JLC, which would i...

A memovox of some sort?

Another icon from JLC. Master Memovox Boutique Edition Polaris Memovox 50th anniversary Master Grand Reveil Best, David ...

Coincidentally...

Was in the Singapore Boutique drooling over the Master Memovox Boutique Edition - what a beauty she is!

Agree 100%

 By: APROchrono : April 3rd, 2018-06:49
Now to buy the wife something to keep the balance! Was actually in the Boutique looking at the Rendez Vouz - the rose gold on bracelet is stunning.

The steel ones are very nice...

 By: APROchrono : April 3rd, 2018-07:05
But the wife is looking for a rose gold watch, on a bracelet.

Looks like the winner will be a Rendez-vous!

 By: DSF : April 3rd, 2018-08:08
Wise to keep the wife happy = ) I really like the Rendez-vous line, especially the night and day which I find the most poetic. I think mostly thanks to the beautiful made crescent moon with the starry night. I noticed some versions have more stars than ot...

You are both right. I will in all probability get the MOP Rose Gold Rendezvous NightDay and yes, that will kill my watch budget for a while. But c'est la wife.

Great choice!

 By: DSF : April 3rd, 2018-08:30
I think it deserves some pictures! And I only just found out the side of the case is encrusted with diamonds as well. Best, David ...

That’s beautiful...

 By: APROchrono : April 3rd, 2018-15:58
My wife was looking for one without diamonds, as she wants a daily wearer. Shall post pictures once she has decided on the one that she likes.

Hard to beat the Reverso Duetto.

 By: vitalsigns : April 5th, 2018-09:51
Incredibly comfortable...just a gorgeous piece. Not sure it comes in rose gold, but it was/is available in yellow gold for many years.

Great suggestion! [nt]

Thank you for the suggestions!

The Memovox is perfect. As much as I want them, the Compressors are a bit too big for my wrist.

At the moment...

 By: APROchrono : April 3rd, 2018-08:18
It isn't so much a search as an aspiration just got the Grande GMT so need to space them a bit.

duometre??!!

i think a bit of casual choice but also best of JLC... Best, mahesh.,

Looks awesome on your wrist!

 By: APROchrono : April 3rd, 2018-06:47
But would look huge on mine!

Definitely “reasonable”

 By: APROchrono : April 3rd, 2018-06:46
As I am saving up for my grail - the 5396R-012 Sounds like Memovox Boutique is the front runner.

Memovox is a great suggestion for a collection of quintessential JLCs

 By: vitalsigns : April 3rd, 2018-09:33
You may not need a sports watch given your PPro alias, but JLC makes some cool sports watches. TT Deep Sea Alarm (both sports and Memovox in one package!) Sector dial chronograph. TT Deep Sea Vintage Chrono. The Geophysic reissue? So many good choices in ...

Thanks Vital for the sugggestions.

 By: APROchrono : April 3rd, 2018-16:02
To be honest, at this point am completely open and am not sure what I am looking for. But you are right, given my handle probably not a sports watch and given my grail, probably not a dress or annual calendar. But as someone pointed out - half the fun is ...

I think that given the two you have the Memovox route is the logical one!

 By: Gus7 : April 3rd, 2018-19:23
But at the end of the day you have to like them. no substitute for spending a happy hour or two in an AD! Look forward to hearing how you decide!

Agree Gus!

 By: APROchrono : April 3rd, 2018-20:31
Shall definitely post back, although given the watch budget depletion, may take some time... spent half an hour yesterday at the AD. Apart from the usual suspects, they have a wonderful wall of Atmos clocks at the back of the store. Another tempting set o...

Lots of nice options at JLC

 By: Boris : April 3rd, 2018-22:30
The Memovox Boutique is nice, and would complement your collection really well. But it is quite thick so you definitely want to try it on first (especially with a shirt). Otherwise the Polaris Automatic (without date) would be a good option. 1mm larger in...

Great point.

 By: APROchrono : April 3rd, 2018-23:25
Boris - Great point, will try on the Memovox with a shirt, as I was in a T shirt when I tried it on yesterday. The Master Chrono is one I have had my eye on for a while. I probably am in the minority though, as I prefer the older 'plain' model versus the ...

Finally using it...

You have Reverso and Master lines covered

 By: reintitan : April 4th, 2018-11:43
Looks like your tastes are more towards dress vs sport and you like complications. Go for a Geophysic Universal Time in stainless steel.

Thanks Reintitan!

 By: APROchrono : April 4th, 2018-16:31
Great watch, tried a friend's watch, but huge on my wrist. Anything that wears over 40mm looks huge on me.

Let me chime in...

 By: watchme : April 6th, 2018-06:41
You have the consummate Reverso, IMHO, the Grande GMT, and one of the most consummate Ultra Thins, the MUT Moon. I would go for the Master Compressor Geographic on bracelet (unless you prefer strap). It will have to be a gray market or used piece by now, ...

Thanks Dean...

The best watch for a black tie event.

 By: DSF : April 6th, 2018-09:41
APROChrono, I really admire your well thought out watch collection, which cover almost all bases with no overlaps. The Patek 5396R-012, which one day you will get, is a white dial, rose gold dress watch with an annual calendar complication. The JLC MUT mo...

Thank you David!

You give me too much credit it’s been more life shaping the collection ie waking up to occasions on which I didn’t have a watch to wear and finding the best alternatives - emergent thoughtfulness at best Your analytical response is actually spot on: Compl...

Geophysic UT, I assume?

 By: APROchrono : April 7th, 2018-04:33
If so, was just drooling over albertclee’s pictures in the other thread. While larger than I would normally wear, I have to try one on - what a beautiful looking watch!

It’s very nice, and due to the compact lugs, wears smaller than its stated size.

 By: vitalsigns : April 7th, 2018-09:07
If you can pull off the Reverso GMT, I think you could handle the Geo UT.

AMVOX

Thanks Katzky! Another great watch...
