Two Jaeger Lecoultre Memovox E 855 Scale.
Blue, in steel:
Gold, Brown scale:
The Blue and Brown Scale are my favorite Memovox Ref E 855, if we don't count the vintage Deep Sea Alarm and the vintage Polaris.
These dials are just incredible.
Between the two, the steel blue is my natural favorite. But I wouldn't mind making an exception for this colored gold version.
Both of these watches are not my ownership, but the Blue is on the top of my wish list. One of the few 4 or 5 vintage JLC I am still hunting.

I'm with you on both counts - that I'd be very happy with either, but if I was lucky enough to have a choice I'd go for the blue too. Cheers JML
