I know several NSA that do not bear any mark on the dial or the glass... and they were sold as it by official AD.

But I don't think it was purpose-made! 
However, concerning vintage memovox, I know few pocket or travel memovox that had sterile dials. Here is a scan of the U.S. catalog from '67. Look at the first one.
But it does not change that I would not have bid on the watch above.
