… To grow and flourish, as did the advancement of the timepiece with each new AMVOX release.
The AMVOX II
represented a major step forward, not just in the partnership between these two
innovative companies, but in watchmaking itself. The AMVOX II was an all-new
chronograph whose functions are activated not by buttons protruding on the side
of the case, but by pushing on the crystal. To Start/Stop the chronograph, the wearer presses
on the crystal at 12:00. Pressing on the
crystal at 6:00 resets the chronograph counters.

There are many variations of the AMVOX II release in a variety of metals.
The 50th Anniversary Racing Edition was released in 2010 in a
limited run of 100 in titanium (w/open-face white dial-ref 192.T.430) and 100
in PVD titanium (w/open-face black dial-ref 192.T.400) as shown.
Note the seconds
indicator just above 6:00 with the Aston Martin logo.

Of course, Jaeger
LeCoultre is never one to rest on its laurels, so Le
Grande Maison released another AMVOX II, but this one has a transponder allowing
the wearer to lock and unlock their Aston vehicle simply by pressing on the
crystal at 9:00 and 3:00:

In a previous post I
mentioned how cool these watches are.
Having a mechanical watch that can lock and unlock your car? It gets no cooler than that. I'll leave you with the DB 11, one of the most beautiful cars I have
ever seen. This one will suck the air
right out of your body.
Have a great weekend, everyone.
